GPS-120 Guide

Your AnyTrack GPS-120 is a tracking solution independent of the need to recharge your unit altogether. The GPS-120 in an ideal device for vehicle and heavy equipment tracking as the unit is powered via 12VDC/24VDC sources. Enclosed in a waterproof rugged case, the GPS-120 can be installed in both exterior and interior locations and provide reliable, accurate tracking. Your GPS-120 contains the following:

  • GPS-120 Water & Impact Resistant Case
  • Extra-long 12VDC/24VDC cable
  • 4 bracket screws (22mm)
  • 4 bracket screws (28mm)
*Important: Do not remove the yellow plastic ribbon from the battery. It is used to remove the battery from the case bracket.



Quick Start

Step One: Install your GPS-130
  • Attach the red line wire to a (+) 12VDC/24VDC source
  • Attach the black line wire to a ground
  • Securely mount the GPS-120 unit with the supplied screws to a flat surface
  • It is recommended that the unit be professionally installed to switch on/off with the vehicle ignition as battery drain in constant without a switched installation.
  • The unit may take a few minutes to begin tracking again when the car is first turned on.
Step Two: Locate your device on the AnyTrack.net Control Panel
  • Your device will show on the left side of the Control Panel. The center panel is a map showing the last location of your GPS-120.
  • Select your device by clicking on it. Then click the Locate Now button. The map will update the location of your AnyTrack GPS-100. If you dont see your device, click the Center Map button (The square blue button next to Locate Now.)
*Remember: Every time you click Locate Now, you use a Locate credit.


Common Troubleshooting Question

The GPS-120 won't appear in the Control Panel of Anytrack.net
Possible Cause:
If the GPS-120 unit is wired into the car in a way that it is linked to the switched ignition, meaning the power to the GPS-120 is dependant on whether the car is on or not, the unit may discharge completely and stop tracking while the car is off. However, when the ignition is turned again, the unit will immediately begin charging again via the 12VDC/24VDC source and within minutes will resume tracking.
Action if Needed:
Run the vehicle for 10-15 minutes and recheck Anytrack.net
